· Pay Rate: $61.86/hr.

· Start/End Dates: 6/8/2026 - 12/7/2026

· Location: Tempe, AZ (hybrid-3 days a week onsite)

What you will do:

· Develops and designs packaging equipment and materials for safe, convenient and attractive transport of goods under a variety of conditions.

· Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to determine the required type of packaging materials and to maximize convenience, utility and function based on the product's physical characteristics, safety and special-handling requirements.

· Evaluates packaging and transporting methods and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

· Evaluates and recommends efficient packing procedures, innovations in packaging materials, and utilization of sealing and fastening devices.

· This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline.

· The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information.

Typical Day to Day:

· Author engineering test protocols.

· Work with sourcing to monitor external vendor test and delivery status.

· Review test data and assess success criteria.

· Work through failure analysis if applicable.

· Author packaging test reports.

· Collaborate with CFT to communicate status and needs.

Must Have:

· Regulated industry packaging design

· Regulated industry packaging Design Verification/validation

· Packaging test failure RCA experience

Nice to Have:

· Supplier management 2+ years

· Project leadership 2+ years

· Equipment Qualification 2+years

Education Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in packaging engineering or related field and 2+ years' packaging industry experience OR

· Associate's Degree in packaging or related field and 4+ years' packaging industry experience
